I am an American expat in my third year living in Holland. I am fascinated by European history and have spent years trying to overturn every stone in every corner of Europe, but there are just too many of them. I am proud to call Amsterdam my adoptive home, and I love to tell its fascinating stories, from the crooked canal houses and tulip craze to the old stone churches which shielded fearful families from the Inquisiton. I am also a self proclaimed foodie and have spent many nights exploring the haunts and old corners of the city that give Amsterdam its charm.
